PURPOSE:To obtain a handy terminal with which continuous key input operation can be performed easily by providing a long connection part along the sliding direction with which keys in a plural layers of key boards get in contact at all the positions of the motion range of the key boards for making all the keys which can be pushed effective. CONSTITUTION:Slide grooves 11 having stopping step parts 10 for forming stopping means at the lower end are formed on the inner sides of a main body frame 9, and connection parts 12 of long electric conductors are provided vertically along the bottom surface of the slide grooves 11. Common electrodes are provided for contact parts 18 formed at the lower surface of slide guides 17 of a menu key board 15 and the connection parts 12, and separate electrodes of menu keys 14 are matrix wired vertically and laterally. The length of the connection part 12 is at least that for the motion range of the menu key board 15, and electric connection is performed for the whole motion range of the menu key board 15. This means that all the menu keys 7, 14 which can be pushed can be inputted, thereby all of them are made effective.
