PURPOSE:To reduce works at site and enhance the sound insulating performance by installing at factory a sound insulating material to the outer side face of the frame of at least one of the housing units, and thereby interposing this material between two housing units adjoining in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of housing units 10, 10 fabricated previously at a factory are assembled at the construction site to build an industrialized housing. At this time, sound insulating material 5, 5 fixed previously at factory to the outer side face of the frame 11, 11 of at least one of the housing units 10, 10 is interposed between two housing units 10, 10 adjoining in the horizontal direction. This eliminates mounting work for the sound insulating material 5, 5 at the construction site, and nullifies leak of sound at the coupling part of the units 10, 10.
