PURPOSE: To provide an automatic boat starter which is not damaged even at operation by keeping the posture of a device stably even in the strong wind or high waves, in an automatic boat starter which draws up and lock canoes, boats, or the likes at the starting point of competition of canoes, boats, or the likes, and unlocks the boats or the likes at the same time with the signal of start. ;CONSTITUTION: When a rotary shaft 8 attached within a cylinder housing 1 installed under water rotates at a certain angle synchronously with the signal of start, arms 2 attached to both ends of the rotary shaft 8 go down, drawing arcs, and the boat lock 3 attached to the tip of the arm 3 goes down together to release the lock of the boat, but a plate-shaped stabilizer 5 attached to the lower part of the cylinder housing 1 absorbs the rocking at the time of descent.
