METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FEEDING AND WINDING WRAPPING PAPER IN COIN WRAPPING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To increase the speed of a wrapping process without causing jamming in wrapping of coins or abnormality in wrapping operation. ;CONSTITUTION: A control circuit which outputs detection signals when feeding of wrapping paper 18 by paper feeding rollers 20 reaches an extent wherein the front end of the fed wrapping paper 18 is caught between wrapping rollers 8-10 and piled-up coins is provided. When the detection signals are not outputted from the control circuit, the paper feeding rollers 20 and the wrapping rollers 8-10 are driven simultaneously so that the speed of feeding the wrapping paper 18 by the feeding rollers 20 and the speed of winding the wrapping paper 18 round the piled-up coins by the wrapping rollers 8-10 can be identical with each other at a low speed. In the case where the detection signals are outputted from the control circuit, the paper feeding rollers 20 are stopped, and at the same time the wrapping rollers 8-10 are driven at a speed higher than the speed for winding round the piled-up coins, and brakes are applied to the wrapping rollers 8-10 after wrapping is completed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
