PURPOSE: To reduce the noise in driving a door by providing an elevator car door drive comprising a three-phase drive signal source of the specified frequency or lower frequency, three filter and three capacitors in which the capacitance of the capacitors is selected to the inductance of a motor winding to form a low pass filter having a section point between frequencies in a specified range. ;CONSTITUTION: An induction motor comprises a secondary side 18 which is connected to an elevator car door 17 to give a linear motion to the elevator car door 17, and a primary side 19 including three Y-connected windings 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24, 25. The three-phase drive signal whose polarity is changed at the frequency of 50 Hz or under is applied to the windings 22-25 on the primary side 19 through a low pass filter 155, and the system comprises three Y-connected capacitors 177-179 to the winding on the motor primary side 19, and three inductors 180-182 connected to the windings 20-25, respectively.
