PURPOSE: To greatly reduce a vertical dimension of an equipment chamber so as to expand a battery storage part upward by arranging an electromagnetic operating valve in the equipment chamber or in a driving chamber and setting the vertical dimension of the equipment chamber to a thickness dimension between a controller and a sensor. ;CONSTITUTION: A battery storage part 10 is formed in the front lower part. of a vehicle main body 1 and an equipment chamber 11 is formed above the battery storage part 10, while an operating chamber 13 and a driving chamber 14 are formed in the rear part of the vehicle main body 1. In such a reach fork lift truck, a sensor 25 detecting an operating condition (operating quantity) of each working machine operating lever 15 is arranged thinly in the vertical direction in the upper part in the equipment chamber 11, while below the sensor 25, a controller 19 receiving a sensor signal is arranged thinly in the vertical direction. On the right side of the sensor 25 and the controller 19, a controller 17 for forward/backward movement and a controller 18 for a charger are arranged, while on the left side, an electromagnetic operating valve 26, which is electrically connected to the controller 19 and receives an electrical signal, is arranged thinly in the vertical direction.
