METHOD FOR MINIMIZING MATRICAL STIMULATION OF TAMOXIFEN AND TAMOXIFEN SIMULANT

PURPOSE: To obtain a suitable preparation for minimizing a uterotrophic effect by tamoxyfen (analog) for the treatment and prevention of breast cancer by containing a specific benzothiophene derivative. CONSTITUTION: This method for minimizing the uterotrophic effect of tamoxyfen (analog) is to use a preparation consisting of a compound of formula I [R4 is H or a lower alkyl; R5 is a lower alkyl, etc.; R6 is R4 ; R7 is a halogen, OH or R4 ; R8 is H or OH; (n) is 2] for the treatment and prevention of breast cancer, and containing a compound of formula II R1 , R3 are each H, CH3 , CO (a 1-6C alkyl), a group of the formula: CO-Ar [Ar is a (substituted) phenyl]; R2 is pyrrolidino, hexamethyleneimino or piperidino}, their salts or solvates as an active ingredient. Further, preferably the dosage of the objective preparation is 1-500 mg/patient for one time, especially 5-300 mg/patient based on the amount of the active component.
