摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain β-form oxytitanium phthalocyanine which can be applied as an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity in a long wavelength region and enhanced in antistatic performance by bringing a dihalogenotitanium phthalocyanine into contact with a specified solvent mixture. ;CONSTITUTION: A dihalogenotitanium phthalocyanine is brought into contact with a solvent mixture containing an N-alkyllactam and water to give β-form oxytitanium phthalocyanine. It is desirable that the solvent mixture contains 1-50wt.% water. The temperature during the contacting is preferably 50-200°C. In the production of an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer provided on a conductive support, the photoreceptor having high sensitivity in a region of a wavelength as long as about 800nm can be obtained by incorporating the β-form oxytitanium phthalocyanine into the photosensitive layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
