PURPOSE: To make it possible to exchange the solid processing agents to be supplied with good workability without mistaking these agents by having a housing container for housing the plural tablet-shaped solid processing agents as arrays in point contact or linear contact with each other. ;CONSTITUTION: The tablet-shaped solid processing agents J for silver halide photosensitive materials have colors varying with each kind of the solid processing agents. The housing container 10 has approximately a square columnar container body 7 housing plural pieces of the tablets J and an opening/closing cap 9 which opens and closes a discharge opening. Three sets of projecting partition plates 7S are integrally fixed to the inner side of the container body 7, by which the inside of the container body 7 is partitioned to four spaces and chambers 7A to 7D are constituted. The tablets J are aligned in an longitudinal array state and are housed in the respective chambers. As a result, the discoloration and fixation by surface-to-surface contact of the tablets J with each other and the generation of fine powder by rubbing of the surfaces against each other are prevented.
