ELECTRONIC KNEE BOARD FOR FLIGHT OPERATION

PURPOSE: To enable a pilot or an operator on board to electronically record and output various data on the aircraft while fitting the knee board on his knee. ;CONSTITUTION: This knee board has a board main body 11 which is formed in a rectangular flat plate shape to specific size; and a fitting band 12 for fitting the knee board to the user detachably is provided on the reverse surface of the board main body 11, and an electronic information processor 13 having a loading part for setting a card type storage device where various data for flight operation are recorded, a panel type input/output integrated device 17 which displays the data read out of the card type storage device and inputs optional data by a handwriting method according to the displayed data, a storage part which stores the inputted optional data, and a central processor which controls the operation of respective constituent elements is provided on the top surface. Consequently, the pilot or operator on board can electronically record and output various data on the aircraft while fitting the board on the knee to prevent misrecording and lighten the burden on the crew.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
