PURPOSE: To provide a high molecular temperature-sensitive material which has an excellent heat resistance and high thermistor B constant and does not make any secular change even when the material is subjected to DC polarization. ;CONSTITUTION: A high molecular temperature-sensitive material is prepared by mixing an insoluble Lewis acid metallic ion generating agent with a compatible conductivity adding agent containing Lewis acid metallic ions in a heat- stable nylon 12 composition containing ester phosphite as an oxidation inhibitor and coordinating an amide group to the Lewis acid metallic ions. In addition, the nylon 12 composition contains 10-50wt.% modified polyamide having a glass transition temperature which is lower than that of nylon 12 by ≥30°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
