PURPOSE: To provide a ball quantity managing device which manages ball quantity in a pinball island board so as to freely select the return place of prize ball by a game player. ;CONSTITUTION: This ball quantity managing device 5 is provided so as to control to supply a ball to the pinball island board via underground supply paths 4a-4e by controlling the operation of the supply device of the pinball island board neighboring to the pinball island board in which an operated reference sensor is provided in a state in which the shortage of quantity of reservoired ball is detected by one of the reference sensors 8a-8e out of plural pinball island boards 1a-1e. Therefore, since the quantity of reservoired ball in the inside of the pinball island boards 1a-1e can be always maintained in a state in which the ball can be reservoired neither too much nor too little by the reference sensors 8a-8e, the game player can return the prize ball to a prize ball return device installed there on any pinball island board.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
