PURPOSE:To provide a concentrical city water purifying device which is capable of effectively removing the org. chlorine compds., musty materials and residual chlorine and concentrically purifying the city water supplied to all faucets in home and is hygrienic, low in a running cost and maintenance free. CONSTITUTION:This concentrical city water purifying device 10 has plural adsorption treating vessels 40 which are connected in parallel and are packed with active carbon 52. The respective treating vessels are provided with heaters 56 and are so constituted that the active carbon is periodically regenerated. The regeneration of the active carbon in the respective treating vessels is successively executed while at least one treating vessel is maintained in a working state. Then, the clean water is supplied in the state of supplying the water for 24 hours even if the concentrical purifying device 10 is not provided with a water storage tank downstream of the device.
