PRESS FOR INJECTION MOLDING HAVING DOUBLE-TOGGLE MOLD CLOSING MECHANISM

PURPOSE: To mold a product having depth and to achieve the miniaturization and cost reduction of an apparatus by constituting a toggle mechanism so as to bend the same outwardly at the side part of a mold closing plate or support plate at the time of mold opening of the apparatus. ;CONSTITUTION: A movable mold attaching plate 13 for performing the open/close operation of a mold is connected to a double-toggle mechanism 18 consisting of upper and lower portions controlled by a hydraulic cylinder 19 through an auxiliary plate 20. The slide motion along the support 14 of the auxiliary plate 20 is performed by a power cylinder 19 and the toggle mechanism 18 is stretched when a press is closed by the movable mold attaching plate 13 approaching a fixed mold attaching plate 12. The toggle mechanism 18 is bent when the press is opened by the separation of the movable mold attaching plate 13 from the fixed mold attaching plate 12. The auxiliary plate 20 become a mechanism returned so as to be opposed to a mold closing plate 11 at the time of mold opening.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
