PRODUCTION OF LARGE-SIZE DESIGNED WOVEN FABRIC PRODUCT BY CONTINUOUS ACCUMULATION OF POLYGONAL PANELS OF DESIGNED WOVEN FABRICS

PURPOSE: To produce a large size of designed cloths particularly used in the building field such as tapestry, thick curtain or drop curtain. ;CONSTITUTION: A designing computer system for designed or figured cloths is utilized to command the continuous connection of the designs in the vertical or horizontal direction or in combination thereof, and a weaving machine equipped with an electronic jacquard is used to produce designed cloths exactly, uniformly, and promptly. Thus, even when designed cloths of an ordinary width are produced, the production of a large size of designed cloths becomes possible by connecting individual designed cloths continuously as these designs are adjusted properly. In other words, designed cloths in the form of an arbitrarily specified polygonal panel or of a quadrangle panel in the building specification are connected continuously in the vertical direction, or the horizontal direction or in combination of vertical and horizontal directions to give a designed cloth product having a large size of design pattern.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
