PURPOSE: To produce an allay having high strength and high corrosion resistance by subjecting a precipitation hardening type nickel-base superalloy stock contg. specified ratios of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Al, Ti and Fe to solution treatment and aging treatment under specified conditions. ;CONSTITUTION: A precipitation hardening type nickel-base superalloy stock contg., by weight, 0.02 to 0.08% C, 0.05 to 1% Si, 0.1 to 1% Mn, 14 to 21% Cr, 0.4 to 1.3% Al, 1.3 to 3% Ti, 1 to 9% Fe, and the balance Ni with inevitable impurities is prepd. This stock is held at 950 to 1050°C for 5 to 7 hr and is subjected to solution treatment. Next, it is subjected to aging treatment of the three stages of holding at 850 to 900°C for 5 to 50hr, holding at 710 to 750°C for 5 to 15hr and holding at 600 to 660°C for 5 to 15hr. Thus, the precipitation hardening type nickel-base superalloy having excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength can be obtd.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
