PURPOSE: To efficiently execute the displacement of gas in a stoke 50 and to produce a casting having good quality. ;CONSTITUTION: The displacement of the non-oxidizing gas in the stoke 50 is executed by supplying the non-oxidizing gas into the stoke 50 from a gas introducing pipe 7 by utilizing the gas permeability of the stoke 50 formed with the gas permeable refractory, in which molten metal 2 is scarcely invaded into the inner part. Successively, the molten metal 2 reaches a cavity 10 by increasing the pressure of the gas for pressurizing in a molten metal pressurizing chamber 41 and is solidified to produce the casting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
