ANCHOR MOUNTING METHOD IN SHEETLIKE DRAIN CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE: To insert the edge of a drain material accurately into the end opening section of a mandrel by computing and specifying the quantity of approach from a required clearance between the mandrel and a cutting fixture and the relative distance of both the mandrel and the cutting fixture immediately before approach, lifting the cutting fixture in response to the quantity of approach and receiving the mandrel from a lower section. ;CONSTITUTION: A lifting gear 12 is suspended to a fixing frame 9 by a plurality of lifting and lowering cylinders 8. A cuter 11 is mounted on the underside of the lifting gear 12, and a winder 13 is installed on the inside. The extraction operation of a mandrel 1 is completed, and the mandrel 1 is passed through a mechanical origin L and stopped at the place L1 of stoppage. The lifting gear 12 is lowered until the relative distance of the front end of the mandrel 1 and the mechanical origin L reaches the intervals of the arrangement of metal sensors. A drain material 3 is cut at the place, and a cut edge is held down by a turning roller 13a and wound on a roller 13c. The lifting gear 12 is brought down up to L2. Accordingly, the edge of the drain material can be inserted accurately into an opening section at the front end of the mandrel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
