PURPOSE: To obtain an MgO-CaO thermal spraying material having a low phosphorus content, attaining satisfactory melting in a thermal spraying flame and ensuring high adhesiveness and high corrosion resistance by adding a proper amt. of a blast furnace slag-alumina fusing material and a blast furnace slag- spinel fusing material. ;CONSTITUTION: This MgO-CaO thermal spraying material contains 55-85wt.% dolomite clinker or dolomite clinker and magnesia clinker and 15-45wt.%, in total, of 10-40wt.% blast furnace slag and 2-10wt.% alumina and/or spinel as fusing materials.
