PURPOSE: To continuously keep the pH of acid soil at an appropriate value over a long period and to reform the acidity by using a specified compd. as the soil reforming agent. ;CONSTITUTION: An alkaline granular magnesia compd. (e.g. magnesia clinker) having 0.5-6.0mm or preferably 1.0-4.0mm grain diameter or porous calcium carbonate (e.g. a material produced by incinerating a shell) is used as a soil acidity reforming agent. This agent is especially suitable to reform the acidity of acid soil in an inclined ground.
