CERAMIC-COATED METALLIC MATERIAL EXCELLENT IN FINGERPRINT RESISTANCE AND FINGERPRINT WIPING PROPERTY

PURPOSE: To produce a ceramic coated metallic material improved in fingerprint resistance and fingerprint wiping properties without deteriorating the color tones characteristic of ceramic coating. ;CONSTITUTION: This is a ceramic-coated metallic material obtd. by coating the surface of a metallic base material such as a steel sheet with a ceramic layer of one or ≥ two kinds among the nitrides, carbides and carbonitrides of Ti, TiAl, Zr and Cr by 0.1 to 5.0μm, and the surface is moreover coated with the transparent oxide of the same ceramic constituting metallic elements by 0.005 to 0.02μm. Thus, its fingerprint resistance and fingerprint wiping properties can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
