DEODORIZATION DEVICE AND TOILET SEAT WITH DEODORIZATION

PURPOSE: To prevent water from flowing into the inside of a deodorization device and also prevent shortage of air volume on deodorizing, by forming the opening opened to the air suction part at the upstream side of the suction opening as a shield wall blocking the front side of suction opening or a part of the under side and allowing air to pass through it. ;CONSTITUTION: A bad smell is sucked from the bowl 1a of a toilet body 1 by a suction fan driven by a motor installed in a main housing and emitted from the discharge opening at the easing 2 bottom face. An ozonizer is assembled in the connection part of the main housing and a deodorizing duct 5b and a deodorizing catalyst are put at the lower end side of the main housing to deodorize the air sucked from the bowl 1a. In this case, the front end of the deodorizing duct 5b is arranged at the lower side of a hot-air path 4b and the upper face of casing 2 is covered as far as the front end of hot-air path 4b. Moreover, a shield wall 6 s provided at the lower face of the hot-air path 4b to prevent splashed urine from entering the inlet of deodorizing duct 5b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
