SATURABLE REACTOR TRANSFORMER AND CONVERTER TRANSFORMER

PURPOSE: To contrive a miniaturization and a lightening of a power regulator transformer (a saturable reactor transformer), which is installed in a self-excited current resonance switching power circuit, and a converter transformer and a reduction in the production costs of the transformers. ;CONSTITUTION: U-shaped magnetic materials 1 and 2 formed by laminating silicon steel punched cores, for example, are jointed with each other by welding in such a way as to intersect orthogonally each other to obtain one core. Windings NB₁, NB₂ and NR are wound on the magnetic leg on one side of magnetic legs of the magnetic material 1 and a control winding NC is wound on the magnetic leg on one side of magnetic legs of the magnetic material 2 to constitute a power regulation transformer T₁.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
