METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR COLLECTING AND TREATING ALUMINUM DROSS AND TREATMENT AGENT FOR MAKING ALUMINUM DROSS INGOT OR STEEL

PURPOSE:To obtain the dross of high Al content suitable as the treatment agent for iron or steel making by executing the re-squeezing to realize the plastic deformation in the different direction of compression after squeezing to efficiently collect the molten Al in a method to press the Al dross. CONSTITUTION:A press plate 8 is loaded on a dross 9 placed in a container 1 having a multihole bottom plate on a multihole receiving table 11, and is pressed by a press head 41 interlocking with press cylinders 4, 4 to receive the vibration from a pressing and exciting breaker 5. In executing the re- squeezing the dross 9 after the primary squeezing, the plastic deformation is realized to execute the squeezing in the different direction of compression from that of the primary squeezing. This constitution destroys the arching generated in the primary squeezing, and the metal is pushed out by the dross movement to easily fill the clearance under the arching, thus realizing the preferable re- squeezing. The metal which is not discharged from and left in the dross is not oxidized due to insufficient air required for the oxidation, and the dross with high metallic Al content or with high density can be obtained.
