PURPOSE: To simplify a controlling system in a machine having a number of working stations without placing a complicated bus circuit by linking each structural element group chain to a controlling unit independently. ;CONSTITUTION: Structural element group chains formed by linking yarn monitoring apparatuses 13 determining the number of rotation of a ring traveler and the number of rotation of yarn in ballooning and control-electronic instruments 7 controlling roving-stop device, which are placed on a controlling unit 15 corresponding the number of working stations of a fine spinning frame in a chain mode, are connected extraneously and independently of other structural element group chains. At the same time, they are constructed so that data are capable of being transmitted to each other. Even if the linkage between two structural element groups of the above-mentioned structural element group chains is interrupted or deleted, a newly formed chain of the controlling unit 15 is managed as an independent chain, and the functional damage of the controlling system itself is avoided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
