PRODUCTION OF BLENDED DYED FABRIC OF SILK WITH POLYESTER FIBER

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a blended dyed fabric having the touch of silk and easy handleability of polyester fibers. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for producing a blended dyed fabric is to scour a fabric comprising silk and polyester fibers dyeable with a disperse dye under atmospheric pressure at (6:4) to (3:7) weight ratio, carry out the processing for preventing rubbing and dye the resultant fabric with a jet dyeing machine. The shrinkage factor of the polyester fibers used in boiling water is preferably ≤15%. Thereby, the dyed fabric having a touch feeling unique to silk and no dyeing speck without causing stain by friction or friction marks can be provided at a low cost.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
