SNOW MELTING GREEN OF GOLF PRACTICING COURSE

PURPOSE: To prevent the accumulation of snow on a green in a golf practicing course by installing a water-resistant sheet-like heating element under artificial turf made of a heat conductive raw material and laying out a heat reflective film material and an insulating sheet material between a ground and the turf and energizing the heating element. ;CONSTITUTION: A foaming resin-made insulating sheet material 1 is laid out on a ground surface of a green and an aluminum foil-made heat reflective film material reinforced with-synthetic resin fiber-made texture or the like is installed on the top of the insulating sheet material 1 thereby preventing the scattering of heat to the ground surface. Furthermore, a water-resistant sheet-like heating element 3, which tightly seals the outer peripheral part of a heating element provided with a power supply cord 3C with a heat resistant and water resistant insulating material 3B, is installed to the upper surface of the heat reflective film material 2 while artificial turf 4 is laid out on the top of the water resistant sheet-like heat element 3, thereby building up a green of a golf practicing course. With regards to the artificial turf 4, a base part 4A, pile 4C or loops or fringes 4B are formed with a heat conductive fiber or a heat conductive raw material, thereby forming heat vent holes 4D having an area exceeding 2mm² on the whole surface of the base part 4A at the rate of 20 to 80% of the area.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
