PURPOSE: To rapidly, effectively repair a heat exchanger in which a tube is damaged in a method for repairing the exchanger to repair the exchanger in which the tube is damaged and a heat exchanger repairing plug. ;CONSTITUTION: A method for repairing a heat exchanger to repair the exchanger in which a tube 35 inserted fixedly to a tube insertion hole 33 formed at a seat plate 31 is damaged comprises the steps of inserting a plug 37 having elasticity at a position corresponding to the hole 33 of the tube 35, and so forming it as to fix it in a compressed state. A heat exchanger repairing plug comprises a plug body 39 formed with a hole 39b at its center and having elasticity, and a pin member 41 inserted into the hole 39b of the body 39 to increase in diameter the hole 39b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
