PURPOSE: To provide a smoke sensor sensitivity testing device by which air flow speed can be controlled with simple constitution and which can be formed as compact constitution without being restricted by an installing place. ;CONSTITUTION: A first sensor 23 and a second sensor 24 are arranged in an upper passage of a smoke introducing passage arranged in a housing of a smoke sensor sensitivity testing tank, and a rotational condition of a suspending movable plate 22 to receive air flow speed generated by sensing vapor generated by a smoke generating device toward the upper passage from a lower passage by a fan 14, is detected by the first sensor 23 and the second sensor 24, and whether or not the air flow speed is within a specified range is discriminated by a combination of ON and OFF of these first sensor 23 and second sensor 24, and when the air flow speed is smaller than the specified range, rotating speed of the fan 14 is raised, and when the air flow speed is larger than the specified range, the rotating speed of the fan 14 is reduced, and the speed of air flowing in the smoke introducing passage 12 is controlled so as to fall within the specified range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
