PURPOSE: To make data transfer between a CPU system and hardware dedicated to graphics low in cost and fast. ;CONSTITUTION: A CPU 110 sets commands to a graphic subsystem 20 in buffer 1205 for burst transfer in a system bus controller 120 while generating the commands through arithmetic, and accesses a start register 1201. In response to this, a controller 120 send the data in the buffer 1205 to the subsystem 20 at the address destination in the start register by burst transfer. A GDBC210 receives address data of the subsystem 20 among the data sent onto a system bus 2, a decoder 2102 decodes the data, and only necessary data are inputted to an internal FIFO 2103. When the FIF02103 is nearly full, an interruption is initiated to the CPU 110 to make a processor bus 1 busy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
