LIFE PROLONGING/RESTORING METHOD OF EXISTING SECULAR DEGRADED WATERPROOF SHEET AND COATING MATERIAL THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To easily prolong the life and restore the sheet by spreading a specific quantity of vinyl chloride based resin compound specifying the content of plasticizer on a degraded vinyl chloride based waterproof sheet, and if necessary, providing a net-like reinforcing layer of specific mesh. ;CONSTITUTION: The surface of a secular degrade vinyl chloride resin based waterproof sheet 1 on a building frame is coated with a vinyl chloride based resin compound 2 containing a large quantity of plasticizer, and a protection film 3 is provided thereon. Next, if necessary, a net-like reinforcing material composed of tension fiber is laid on the sheet 1, and coated with the compound 2 thereon. The compound 2 contains plasticizer of 80-300 weight part to vinyl chloride resin of 100 weight part. The spreading quantity of the compound 2 is set as 10-2400g/m². The net-like reinforcing material is a lattice-like texture of which intervals of wap and weft are set in the range of 5-24mm. Hereby, the flexibility of the sheet can be restored, the life can be greatly improved, the work can be easily executed at a low cost, and the waterproofness can be also improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
