the curved protective wall (2a) runs from one wall to the other for the wash-basing preferably mounted in the corner of a room. A shelf (2b) forming a horizontal surface (2c) protrudes forwards from the protective wall in the form of an annular section. The ends of the shelf each have strip shaped attachments (2d) protruding at right angles to and underneath the shelf's surface, with at least one opening (2e) for a fixture. Reinforcement ridges (2f) ending in the strip shaped attachments are positioned on the shelf's underside. Reinforcement strips (2g) are shaped on the ends of the protective wall.
