The foot control device for a percussion sound module (PSM) has a pedal housing (24) having at least one foot control element (2a-2d) each consisting of a foot control pedal (20) which is connected to a striking element (21) which is movable against a plate (10). A vibration sensitive senor or trigger (13) is mounted on the latter and is electrically connected to the PSM to transmit a signal to the latter representing a stroke applied to the plate. Each foot control element is formed in a housing (5) and the foot plate with the attached trigger fixed to it along the periphery is set in elastic material which secures the element in the housing.
