The lamp (1) has a transparent, elongate, lamp body (2), formed by a flexible hose, with respective couplings (5) at either end (3, 4) allowing it to be combined with similar adjacent lamps. Pref. the couplings at the opposite ends of the lamp body ae respectively provided by plug and socket elements (6, 7), so that the adjacent lamps are plugged in to one another. An elongate stiffening profile (8) within the lamp body, may be fitted in a reception recess provided by one of the couplings.
