A compound of the formula (II): IMAGE (II) wherein R1 is hydrogen, benzyl or a group of the formula (A): ydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 alkoxy or trifluoromethyl; and R7 is a leaving group consisting of halogen, OTf or (Trifluorate, e.g. OSO2CF3), OSO2alkyl and OSO2Ar wherein Ar represents optionally substituted aryl.
