Granulating appts. comprising the following parts: (A) a mixing drum (1) with a powdered material dispenser (2), binder soln. dispenser (3) and an outlet (4) for the granulate; (B) a binder soln. distributor (5) connected to the binder soln. dispenser and located inside (A), comprising a mantle (6) with holes (10) through which the soln. passes into (A); and (C) a mixing device (7) which cooperates with (B) to mix the material being granulated. Also claimed are (i) a granulation process for powdered material using the above appts. and (ii) a granulated prod. prepd. by this process.
