A hollow body 16, such as a body intended to be mounted on the bottom of a fuel tank, has a peripheral shell 20. Inside the shell 20 is mounted an electric pump 14 or similar apparatus subjected to radial vibrations. The electric pump 14 is supported from the shell 20 by means of an elastic insert 28. The insert 28 consists of a single piece of fatigue-resistant plastic material, having two concentric annular walls 50, 52, radially spaced and interconnected by elastically flexible brackets 54 to allow relative radial oscillations of the two annular walls 50, 52.
