Design and analysis instrument for complex electronic systems that permits modelling of the system in accordance with the methods of structural analysis of Yourdon-DeMarco and Ward-Mellor, that can be automatically performed, by means of an integrated representation using the same syntax, AND generation of the hierarchical analysis of faults in the said system. The instrument according to the invention permits a considerable saving of time and resources in the design and development of complex electronic systems, permitting them at the same time to meet very high standards of reliability.
