HOOD CONNECTOR FOR CONNECTING THE FIBER OPTIC CABLES (FOC) OF FOCUS EARTH ROPES AND FOCUS CABLES

Hood sleeves for self-supporting long-distance aerial cables are known. The aim now is to specify a hood sleeve for connecting the optical fibres of optical fibre earth wires and optical fibre connecting cables which can be used in a versatile fashion and is nevertheless simple. The essence of the solution is that a) a rectangular plate (6) directed downwards is screwed to the round plate (1) of the lower housing part on the mast side in order to secure the mast, b) situated symmetrically in the housing plate (1) with respect to the plate centre are a plurality of openings into each of which there is screwed a lead-in sleeve (3) constructed as an adaptor for a specific wire or cable, c) a wire threaded union (5) is inserted into the foot of each lead-in sleeve (3) and d) a wire fixing clamp (7, 8) is mounted on the foot of the mast-securing plate (6) below each wire threaded union (5).
