The invention relates to a granular additive for granular detergents and cleaning agents, consisting of a granular adsorbent (I) and, adsorbed thereon, non-ionic surfactants (II) from the class of polyglycol ether derivatives, where component (I) has the following composition based on anhydrous substance: (a) 50 to 75 % by weight of microcrystalline zeolite, (b) 2 to 10 % by weight of a sheet silicate and (c) 2.5 to 10 % by weight of the sodium salt of a (co)polymeric carboxylic acid. The remainder consists of up to 10 % by weight of sodium sulphate and of water and minor constituents. The ratio of adsorbent (I) to non-ionic surfactant (II) is 2 : 1 to 20 : 1 by weight. The agents have improved rinsing properties in domestic washing machines.
