THE INVENTION DESCRIBES VOLTAGE CONVERSION DEVICES, EITHER FOR INVESTMENT OR CONVERSION AND INCLUDES A VARIABLE DURATION 3 PULSE MODULATOR, A THREE-PHASE THREE-FOOT BRIDGE, HAVING EVERY FOOT 56.58.60 OF THE BRIDGE A COMPLEMENTARY SWITCHES S1 *, S2 / S2 *, S3 / S3 *). ONE OF THE S1, S2 OR S3 SWITCHES (S1 *, S2 * OR S3 *) LEADS IN THOSE TIME INTERVALS WHERE THE REFERENCE VOLTAGE ASSOCIATED WITH UA UB OR UC HAS A GREATER (LESS) AMPLITUDE THAN THE TWO OTHER REFERENCE VOLTAGES . IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRESENT INVENTION, (A) THREE REFERENCE VOLTAGES ARE SUPPLIED TO UA UB UC, (B) THE MAXIMUM VALUE OF THESE VOLTAGES IS DETECTED, (C) THE MAXIMUM VALUE OF THESE VOLTAGES OF THE UTP SUMMIT VALUE OF A WAVE TRIANGULAR USED TO FORM THE VARIABLE DURATION PULSE MODULATION SIGNAL (PWM), AND (D) THE DIFFERENCE IS ADDED TO EACH ONE THE REFERENCE VOLTAGES UA UB UC TO FORM INCREASED REFERENCE VOLTAGES UA '' UB '' UC '' POWERING A VARIABLE DURATION PULSE MODULATOR (PWM). THE RESULT IS THAT WHEN ONE OF THE THREE REFERENCE VOLTAGES IS GREATER THAN THE REMAINING TWO, A SWITCH OF ONE OF THE THREE COMPLEMENTARY PAIRS, THE TWO SWITCHES ARE OPENED AND CLOSED IN RESPONSE TO THE MODULATION SIGNAL BY VARIABLE DURATION IMPULSES ( PWM) SO THAT ONLY TWO CURRENTS ARE CONTROLLED INDEPENDENTLY BY EACH OF THE TWO COMPLEMENTARY PAIRS THAT ARE ALLOWED TO OPEN AND CLOSE.
