A window frame and sash combination having anexterior side and an interior side for providing pressureequilization between the window frame and sash on theexterior side thereof comprising a vent and drain channelextending along the inner perimeter of the window frameadjacent the exterior side of the sash, and sealing andlatching means on each side of the sash adjacent the windowframe for latching the sash to the frame and for sealing thevent and drain channel.
