An ultrafine grinding mill of which fed material flows downthrough an agitated bed composed of small grinding mediumcharacterized in that said ultrafine gringing mill comprises avertically arranged cylindrical housing, a net member having a meshsize preventing the grinding medium from passing therethrough andarranged at the bottom of the cylindrical housing, a rotary shaftarranged on a central axis of the cylindrical housing, and agitatingblades mounted at several stages on the rotary shaft, and in that botha gap between the tip of each agitating blade and the inner surfaceof the cylindrical housing and a gap between the agitating blade ofthe lowermost stage and the net member are in a range 2/3 through 0of the diameter of the grinding medium at room temperature.
