The present invention relates to a portable collapsible device for finding, positioning and storing the vanishing points of perspective drawings on boards, panels, canvasses or the like. The device comprises a vanishing point arm carrier means releasably attached by a carrier attachment means to any predetermined place on a drawing board or a canvas frame. A vanishing point arm of variable length is removably fastened by its one end to the vanishing point arm carrier means in any of predetermined positions so as to define a given angle with respect to said carrier means. The opposite end of the vanishing point arm is provided with a vanishing point indicator means. A memory means is adapted to memorize said predetermined position of a given vanishing point after said vanishing point carrier and arm are temporarily removed from the carrier attachment means.
