Modulated signal transmission system capable of removing not only a nonlinear distortion but also a linear distortion

PURPOSE: To compensate the non-linear distortion compatible with the linear distortion by means of an adaptive-type linearizer. ;CONSTITUTION: A digital baseband signal S_i is non-linear converted by a 1st non-linear converter 2 to amplitude-modulate the output of a carrier oscillator 4. One part of the output of a non-linear amplifier 8 amplifying the output of a modulator 5 is detected by a straight line detecting device 9. A linear filter 12 accepts a filter coefficient from a filter coefficient estimation section 15 and gives the same straight line distortion included by the device 9 to a digital baseband signal S_i. The non-linear conversion characteristic of the 1st non-linear converter 2 is controlled to decrease the difference between the output of the linear filter 12 and the output of the straight line detecting device 9 calculated by an error power calculating device 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
