MICRODROPPER-SYRINGE FOR CONTINUOUS INTRAVENOUS INFUSION IN DECREASING EXPONENTIAL DECLINATION

It comprises a syringe made of disposable material and having a variable capacity, whose plunger is traversed by a conduit which opens into the syringe body. The other extremity of said conduit is extended with a flexible tube which carries, at its distal extremity, a standard device for connection to a bottle of intravenous solutions and which is provided with a closing valve. The cone of the syringe is extended by the flexible tube which is connected to an intravascular catheter. Said tube must be provided with a flow regulating valve and, optionally, be adapted to be used with infusion pumps. In order to prevent the displacement of the syringe plunger, once charged and in operation, as well as the distortion of the exponential declination which takes place inside, the assembly is provided with a device which blocks the displacement of the plunger.
