Thermoplastic polyamides (PA) and thermoplastic elastomer-based polyamides, contg. (cyclo)aliphatic and/or aromatic units, are grafted along the polymer chain with alkoxy silanes with at least one unsaturation, pref. vinyl trialkoxy silanes of formula CH2=CH-Si-(OR)3 (I), where R is an alkyl, opt. substd. with alkoxy.
