one improved process and intended to produce ultrafine explosive particles. the explosive material, when incorporated into a binder, have the ability to spread into thin sheets, and have a very low impact and a high degree of sensitivity to the spread.a stream of a solution of the explosive dissolved in a solvent is mixed thoroughly with a current of a non inert solvent so as to obtain a non laminar flow streams by applying pressure against the flow of the current non solvent to thereby make differ the c ourant when it comes in contact with the explosive idea.a combined current and stirring to precipitate rapidly the explosive material in the form of ultrafine particles in solution are generally spherical. the two currents are injected through orifices in the coaxialement continuous concentric nozzle into a mixing chamber.preferably, the non solvent is injected centrally by the explosive power solution. the current solution is injected downstream of the flow of solution and non solvent around it on a fair distance away before being ejected into the mixing chamber.
