Cap which can be screwed around the neck (2) of a container (3). It is made up of two elements (6, 7) one incorporated within the other and made up of an outer cap element (6) including a safety tongue (14) and of a screw ring (7) set inside the cap element (6). The two elements (6, 7) are subject to the action of an assembly (13) forming a spring which normally holds them away from one another and include means making it possible to exert a normal screwing action and to allow unscrewing only when a pressure is exerted on the outer cap element (6).
