Hindered phenol derivs. of formula (I) are new: R = halogen; 1-5 C alkyl; phenyl(1-5 C)alkyl; 1-5 C alkoxy opt. interrupted by O or S; 3-5 C alkenyloxy; 4-8 C cycloalkoxy; NH2; mono- or diphenyl(1-5 C)alkylamino; opt.
